Kindergarten students got their passports and suitcases ready to go as they traveled around the world. Students "visited" different countries and learned about different holidays. After learning about each holiday, students made a craft to symbolize what they learned. Now, their suitcases are all packed and ready to go!

Deputy James Parsons and his partner Blaze came to talk to the third-graders about their duties with the Otoe County Sheriff's Department. The third graders have a story in their reading books about a police officer and his K9 partner. Deputy Parsons was able to tie their reading story to real life situations.
