1. Rock Cycle-- This is a website that I would have my students go here to learn about the rock cycle. I would make a graphic organizer for them to use as they explore through the site.
2. Human Anatomy--This is a website where students can get information on the 3 types of systems we will be learning in fifth grade: skeletal, nervous and circulatory.
3. Newton's Laws of Motion--This website tells about Newton's 3 laws of motion that fifth graders will need to learn this year.
4. Bill Nye the Science Guy--You can get a lot of information off of this site. Bill shows you home experiments and answers questions.
5. Animal Planet--This is a great website if I would want to do a research project on an animal with my students.
6. Cool Science for Curious Kids--Cool scientific questions that students can explore, especially if they want an extra challenge.

Science Monster--This web site will
meet some of my curriculum objectives in science this year. Student friendly
wording and games that go right along with learning objectives.
8. Scholastic Kids--Many different web quests and activities my fifth graders can do in science or math.

of choices to use for science or math.

Layers--One of the 5th grade science standards. Great visual for kids to
see.
